20 years ago, in the summer of 2004 Matador Records put out The New Pornographers bandleader A.C. Newman’s critically acclaimed, debut solo album The Slow Wonder.

To celebrate two decades of this record, which Exclaim! recently dubbed “The Understated Masterpiece of the Canadian Indie Boom” in a retrospective, Newman will be performing The Slow Wonder in its entirety on a short run of very special shows.
